Sick about it
Hurting bad!
Out of it
Fire
Can't sleep
The Plan
And your job keep saying NO,
Kill it with a pill!
That's it
it's about comfortable
it's about Advil
Love Fades
It slipped through my fingers
And now that I’ve lost it
Feels like I’ve gone through a ringer
ADVIL-ices 2
You've got lots of bills to pay.
Advil says: Take a Pill.

Confessions of a Hopeless Romantic
Kind, sweet and patient
God-fearing and positive
Gentleman-like in the streets
It's the little things you do
Washing the dishes after I cook
Remembering my favorite things
Sweet kisses on my cheek
You could be so much more, than just my 'boo'
A relationship is not what you want, you say
..but you give Love, trust, honesty and loyalty
Week after week
We can face the world, just us two
Standing side by side until the storms of life pass us by
As friends, lovers, and partners
This is what I seek.
October 4, 2011 10:34pm
I decided to take the scenic route today
& I'm so glad I did, is all there is to say
Tired at a stoplight, we crossed paths.
You, going in the opposite direction,
Quick swerve to the right,
Hidden and out of sight.
We stop to talk
We met and I instantly fell in love
Your skin, your voice, your style
You gorgeous pearly white smile,
You've got swag, boy.
You on your ped,
me in my 'stang.
We're both riding clean and doin' our thang'
A random guy asks us to race
We laugh it off,
I tell you I'm only in town for a while
"We might have a future together," you said with a smile
Turning my heart to gold

Raw
Painful Beauty
Funny Story
That you're probably gonna laugh a lot
It involves old people's finger nails
and mini Oreos killing robots
It's so funny and unexpected
that you're gonna fall out of your chair
when I told my neighbors
they all spitted on each others hair
Even my dog got a laugh
Or at least it sounded like one
I believe he heard me telling my mom
and choked on a bone
The story is like this:
There's this place around block
that has this weird looking... ahhmm...
...nevermind. I forgot.
This Poem
That reads this poem
I don't know what to write
Any word that rhymes with poem
So i used it twice.
But "write" rhymes with "twice"
So the last verse wasn't that bad
But using this verse to explain the previous one
Is kind of sad.
Same thing happened again
"Twice" didn't rhyme with "one"
But "bad" rhymed with "sad"
and it ends the way i want.

Late night mistakes
Where nothing happens
Throwdown with Bobby Flay
building things out of clay
going outside to play
hanging out with Bley
sleeping in all day
swimming in the bay
photographs at the cay
picking up a stray
laying in a stack of hay
walking down blue jay way
riding downhill on a sleigh
staying up late to pray
writing an essay
eating at the buffet
or at the local cafe
trying out new hair spray
taking an online survey
eating chocolate souffle
visiting cafe risque
getting an x ray
checking out a cabaret
partying in the USA
cooking marinated filet
things to do when there’s no NBA
in a Strange place
Who is that?
Who’s at the door?
Where am I?
Why am I on this tiny couch?
Where’s my pants?
Stop knocking
it’s 9:30 am?
Courty?
I thought you slept,
right there on the floor
That's it
And I know that you know that.
So... what else to say?
Demand
Don't you even dare to be
Not a Doritos

Sunburn State
To a freaking ice age
I thought this was Florida
With heat like a sauna
I check on the weather
It says sixty seven
I’m getting too soft
When did that mean cold?
Barely feel my toes
You’d think there is snow
It suddenly hits me
Oh, no, I'm adapting
God, I need to return
To my home up north
Before I start wearing
A scarf when it’s sixty seven
Full of Doritos
Crunk, Crunk, Crunk, Crunk, Crunk, Crunk, Crunk
Sorry, mouth was full
Bad Day
I walk out and sing
Oh, lovely sunshine
Hello, lovely trees
The breeze feels so nice
I can’t help but smile
Hearing the birds singing
Is lifting my spirits
But then I hear splat
My head oddly wet
I reach up to check
Is that poop in my hair?
I can’t help myself
What a crappy day
I yell at the sky
Curse you, stupid birds

Bullies
The grass is green
The sun is yellow
But my neighbors are mean
My tongue is red
The earth is brown
My teeth are white
But you only see my frown
The juice is orange
The gum is pink
The grapes are purple
So is my eye, I think
Bullies Suck!
and I guess i do too.
I get beaten up by drawing
rainbows in school.
Rain Down
poem for baby spike
lullabies help you sleep
Henry's barking makes you weep
everything, you want to eat
but milk is your only treat
when we tickle your little feet
you laugh and smile from your baby seat
why can’t you have all these sweets?
cause you ain’t got no baby teeth
Cookies
rainbow sprinkled, thin mint,
macadamia nut, ginger snap,
black and white cookie, what a snack
Cookies are my favorite food
they’re so delightful, I’m always in the mood
to eat these delectable treats
after any meal especially meats
Dip them in milk or eat them dry
and if your crazy try them fried
Oreos dipped in dough
then cooked in oil, nice and slow
Cookies are my favorite food
I will not share because i’m rude
Im want to be a mother
What you mean.

Colors
red, yellow and blue.
But the rainbow doesn't stop here
there is so much you can do!
Red and yellow mixes a color so bright and fun
In the evening you see it best when it's almost gone,
and the moon is ready to replace the sun
it makes the color orange.
Red and blue mix a color so true
Grapes and eggplants seem to think so too
mix these colors together and you'll never be hurtful
because rad red and cool blue makes purple.
Yellow and blue together can be so mean
They are like a sight you have never seen
This is the color of the grass and leaves
Yellow and blue makes the color green.
Bumbling Bees
buzzing and bumbling
by the big banana tree
Big bubbles and rough rumbles
Goes the bummbly brigade of buzzing
Tired tirades and confusing charades
Leaves the bummbly busted!
Billions of brightly bumbled buddies
Buzzing and billowing through the night
Busying bumbing and buzzing we study
those buzzing and bumbling bees, what a sight!

My First Girl
I see her everyday
I thought it would be cool
for me to wave at her
She wears a pink bow
I wear a little bow tie
She hold my hand once
and I thought she was mine
We shared the juice box
and the grilled cheese my mom made
we walked a feel blocks
until the bus came
I kissed her on the cheek
she kissed me on mine
we blushed for a minute
and laughed for a while
My friends sing silly songs
to make fun of us
but my heart sings like bird
when she come out of the bus
I know another day is starting
And we will be together
Until the time we go home
But I will never forget her.
Taste
is just like candy for me
what chapstick you use?
Weekend
Sunlight hits my face
Pop my one eye open
Should I lift my head?
No, a few more minutes
A pillow over my head
I bet my mom is coming
To push me off the bed
Did I finish my homework?
My teacher will complain
To dot my i’s and cross my t’s
I seem to always forget
Mm..it’s been a while
My mom is off her game
She should be here by now.
Oh wait! It’s Saturday.
Primary Colors
Like sun-rays of light
But mix it with blue
And green is the hue
Blue makes you calmer
Like skies in the summer
But mix it with red
You get purple instead
Red is so loud.
Like a concert crowd
But mix it with others
And you’ll find its brothers

Where it so well
Mr. Burt bee's
Happier Santa
He comes around but once a year
spreading joy, laughter and cheer
But how do you think he feels when he gets home
after traveling the globe, jet lagged and owned
His nagging, yelling, old wife
Mrs. Claus screams, “time for your real life,
do your chores get ready for dinner”
Can’t you see he’s not getting any thinner?
Out all night, traveling through time
giving presents to kids, no time to dine
Cookies and milk is all he eats
in several countries, he barely fits in his seat
on his sled, the reindeer whimper
can’t we just go back for dinner?
It taste better this way
infinite magic happens at night
My fist grade class
Three hours a day
I had 17 children.
I was their mother
I helped with their homework
Fed them snacks
Cleaned up their messes.
Bandaged their boo-boos.
And in turn
They relieved my stress
Gave me new perspective
And best of all
Showered me with love
Its so funny,
The personality of a six year old
So full of emotion
that adults experience everyday.
Yet the complexities of life
are absent from theirs
which allows them to be transparent
With feelings, apologizes
Joys, sorrows.
I taught them, but really they taught me.
To be like a child
is to have eyes as wide as the ocean
to see things as just what they are
beautiful, imaginative and whimsical.
To be like a child
is to be bold, and unafraid.
To take on the world's toughest problems with pride
Never ashamed to ask the smallest questions
To be a like a child
Is to dream big dreams
To know nothing of proportion or reason
Assured that everything you want to happen will come true
To be like a child
Is to take small moments of treasured time
To play, to walk, to look at the sky, to think, to breathe
Being absent of responsibility, worry, fear or doubt.
To be like a child
In my mind, is to be ideal
To find stay true to yourself
And find the best self that is within you.
Play Time
Kids Love Milk
Trick or treat
Halloween, Halloween
I want to hear you laugh
I want to see you scream
All the children knock on my door
“Trick or treat”
they shout and roar
I give them candy
and then they leave
You little brats
say thank you, please
Little Friends
I trade my pie for your coloring pencils
I trade these pencils for your notebook
And on this notebook we'll draw colorful apple pies.
I trade my shoes for your kite
I trade my kite for your skateboard
I trade this skateboard for a high 5
And I'll run with you everywhere you go
I trade my cards for your basketball
I trade this basketball for your tennis racket
I trade the racket for your football
And we kick butts 'cause we're the best
I give you my friendship, you give me yours
I take your friendship with me for eternity
because when we grow up
we won't trade the memory of our childhood for anything
Kids
Who seek for toys and rainbows
Whose days are full of yellow
Creativity rising above
I write about those who don't read
But whose scribbles would make me believe
That the dream is as full as the green
That gives hope to this world full of us
I admire the eyes of the small
Who look at world as brand new
They don't know the limits of the possible
And present the impossible to you
This is a call for the children
To inspire the world we live in
May your smile be the scream
That remind us to stop growing.
