Rain Down

Rain may seem like such a mess
It wets my hair and soaks my dress
Goes through my shoes and through my socks
I run for shelter, swift as a fox

But sometimes rain can be so fun
I splash through puddles one by one
I do not worry about my clothes
The sky becomes an endless hose

When it clears and skies turn blue
Rain has done so much for you
It cooled the weather and watered the plants
And now I stare at a rainbow's expanse
